This mural emerges from the meeting of two generations and two visual languages that have shaped the urban space in Portugal: graffiti, represented by Obey Sktr, one of the pioneers of the movement in the country, and street art, through the visual work of Tamara Alves. More than a fusion of styles, this piece is a symbolic gesture that celebrates dialogue, evolution, and the ability of different techniques to coexist in the same space.
At a time when we are often pushed to take sides or split paths, this work proposes the opposite: a future where graffiti and street art do not cancel each other out, but instead complement one another. Where history and the present walk side by side, creating new forms of expression and new possibilities — for those who look, for those who paint, and for those who live the city.
