Iminente Festival 2019
I wrote the word “animal” across the face of my character as an intimate and symbolic gesture, marking a turning point in my practice. The figure exists between the human and the wild, reflecting my ongoing exploration of instinct, emotion, and inner nature. By inscribing “animal” onto the skin, I embraced instinct not as something to be suppressed, but as a poetic and vital force, this was a key moment in my trajectory that solidified the presence of the body, vulnerability, and the untamed as central elements of my visual
language.
