A Fera

Festival NALATA 2024

This mural explores the symbolic fusion between the female figure and the leopard, suggesting they are manifestations of the same primal force. The woman, with her serene yet defiant gaze, seems to emerge from the same essence as the leopard — not as separate beings, but as two facets of a singular strength, silently challenging the viewer with their presence.

The quote by Clarice Lispector — “I am a lit flame! And I shine and shine through all this darkness” — reinforces the idea of an inner, luminous, untamed power that shines within both the woman and the animal. Inspired by the story "Beauty and the Beast", the piece invites viewers to reflect on inner dualities and the power that arises from their fusion.
